Last month, three team members from SweetGrass Trading Company had the exciting opportunity to attend the 2025 Reservation Economic Summit (RES) in Las Vegas, hosted by the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development (NCAIED). The event brought together tribal leaders, Native-owned businesses, corporations, and government agencies from across the country—all with a shared focus on advancing economic development throughout Indian Country.
SweetGrass Trading Company proudly exhibited as part of the Ho-Chunk Pavilion, alongside other affiliates of Ho-Chunk, Inc. in the bustling exhibitor hall. It was a powerful display of collaboration and innovation under one roof.
Our team was honored to represent SweetGrass, which is owned by Ho-Chunk Trading Group, a subsidiary of Ho-Chunk, Inc.—the economic development arm of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska.
RES 2025 proved once again to be the premier event for forging strong business relationships, gaining strategic insights, and discovering new avenues for growth in Native enterprise. From insightful workshops to personalized consulting sessions and top-tier networking opportunities, the summit offered a wealth of value for all attendees.
We truly enjoyed connecting with current customers, meeting potential partners, and building relationships that we believe will lead to meaningful collaboration in the future. Events like RES strengthen the foundation for continued success and innovation within Indian Country, and we’re grateful to be part of that momentum.
