Wild Rice Meatballs

 2 lbs lean ground beef
 1 lb bulk pork sausage
 5 oz can evaporated milk
 1 ¼ cups old fashioned oatmeal
 1 ¾ cups cooked wild rice
 ½ tsp black pepper
 ¾ tsp garlic powder
 2 tsp chili powder
 2 tsp salt
 2 large eggs
 ½ cup onion, chopped
 For sauce:
 3 cups ketchup
 1 ¾ cups brown sugar
 1 ½ tsp liquid smoke
 1 tsp garli powder
 ¾ cup chopped onions

Mix all meatball ingredients together, shape into 1" balls. Cover baking sheet with heavy duty foil. Place meatballs on baking sheet in single layers. Combine sauce ingredients and pour over meatballs. Reserve a little sauce for garnish. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve on picks at your next get together. Makes 9 dozen meatballs.
