The Ho-Chunk, Inc. Summer Internship Program is designed to give students in undergraduate and graduate degree programs hands-on experience at an innovative Native American-owned company that prides itself on a strong social mission and community impact.

Ho-Chunk, Inc. interns become an active part of the team from day one. Our personalized approach to learning and development helps foster growth and ensure each intern’s experience is meaningful.

Based on educational goals and interests, interns are placed across a wide range of projects and business sectors. During the 11-week paid program, interns learn directly from company leaders, see classroom teachings come to life and make impactful contributions to the company and Winnebago community.

Internship opportunities are available in the following areas: communications, corporate operations, finance, government contracting, HR, IT, manufacturing, marketing, retail, and real estate and construction.

Eligibility:

-Applicants must have completed at least one full semester of college and have a cumulative GPA of 2.5
or above. U.S. citizenship required.

-Preference will be given to enrolled members of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska and other federally recognized tribes, as well as students with an interest in advancing economic development for Native Americans.

-Preference will also be given to students pursuing a business-related degree. Others majors are encouraged to apply.
