Three comforting recipes to try this fall

When the weather gets crisp and the leaves start to fall, nothing sounds better than a cozy night at home with a warm, home cooked meal. We have plenty of great autumn recipes on our website, but below we’ve highlighted a few of our favorites. Try them and let us know how they turned out!

Pepper, wild rice and bison soup in a blue bowl

Unstuffed pepper soup with bison
I’m sure you’ve heard of stuffed bell peppers…we took the idea and made it into a delicious, spicy and hearty soup with flavors of tomatoes, wild rice and peppers! Use ground bison or elk to keep the recipe more traditional or swap it for ground turkey or beef. Either way, this recipe is sure to be a hit at your next soup night!

Smoked salmon pasta on a red and black plate

Creamy smoked salmon pasta
This delicious, filling dish uses fettucine noodles with a homemade creamy pasta sauce, combined with flaky smoked salmon. This dish will have your guests going back for seconds and asking for your recipe! Add some cooked peas or broccoli to kick up the nutrition!

Bison meat loaf on blue plate

Meat loaf is known for being an easy, versatile meal. Serve it alone with ketchup or salsa, or slice it and make it into a sandwich! Ground bison can usually be found at your local Walmart or meat shop, but if not ground turkey or beef works too!
